SiftHub uses an API-based connection to index Gong transcripts for search and response generation. This setup allows sales engineering teams to access verbal discovery data directly within their RFP and proposal workflows, ensuring technical responses are grounded in actual customer requirements.
SiftHub protects Gong data through secure, API-based ingestion, SOC 2 Type II compliance, and source-level permission mirroring. The integration is built to respect the existing governance and privacy controls you have established within your Gong environment.
The SiftHub Gong integration is configured via a secure API connection between your Gong instance and the SiftHub platform. Setting up the connector requires a Gong Administrator to generate the required API credentials and typically takes less than 10 minutes.
Before beginning the setup, ensure you have the following:
Step 1: Generate Gong API keys
Step 2: Securely share credentials
Provide the following three values to your SiftHub CSM or implementation owner:
Step 3: Define scope and sync
Once the keys are provided, the SiftHub team will configure the backend integration. During this step, you will define the ingestion scope by identifying which specific workspaces, folders, or user groups SiftHub should index.
If you need any additional help in setting up your integration, feel free to reach out directly to your SiftHub Customer Success Manager, or write to us at support@sifthub.io.
